Friday
Well, this is an easy day to write about. I spent most of it asleep
thanks to a long and intense conference call that started in the
middle of the night.
I woke up again around five o'clock. Five in the evening, of course.
Now it's midnight. WHY AM I SUCH A NIGHT PERSON? Even on perfectly
normal days, even when I really try, I can't seem to get it right.
My body doesn't like being awake during the day. When the sun goes
down, I start to come alive. Sun starts coming up -- the fatigue
hits me like a wall.
Having a house rocks. I've done some laundry, some piano practice,
played with Pumpkin and watched the "Dead Poets Society." (I'd forgotten
how good that movie was -- inspiring.)
It got me to thinking though: Why weren't any of my teachers like
Robin Williams in high school? Or, for that matter, even college.
Reader: Because the education system in the United States sucks
donkey ass.
Journal: Oh yeah, that's right. Thanks. I'd forgotten.
Reader: Besides, don't you think asking for Robin Williams as
a high school teacher is a bit much?
Journal: Hmph!
Well, that's it for now. I really don't feel like doing
the log tonight, and I want to get started on another "real" entry.
